Connect Your Trezor Device
Use the provided USB cable to connect your Trezor wallet to your computer. Visit Trezor.io/start in your browser to begin the setup.
Download Trezor Suite
You’ll be prompted to download Trezor Suite, the official desktop app that helps you manage your crypto portfolio securely. It’s available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Install Firmware
For security reasons, your Trezor device ships without pre-installed firmware. During setup, the website guides you through downloading and installing the latest firmware.
Create a New Wallet
Once the firmware is installed, choose “Create New Wallet.” Trezor will generate a recovery seed phrase — typically 12, 18, or 24 words long. Write this down on paper and keep it offline in a safe place.
Access the Trezor Dashboard
After setting up, you can use Trezor Suite to monitor your balances, send and receive crypto, and manage your portfolio securely.
Step 1: Open the Trezor Suite app or visit the official Trezor web app.
Step 2: Connect your Trezor device to your computer.
Step 3: Enter your PIN on the device’s display (never on your computer).
Step 4: Once verified, you’ll gain access to your wallet dashboard securely.
